The Garage

The Garage is a fusion of ideas, borrowing from the Homebrew Computer Club meets of California that gave rise to Apple Computers and OpenCoffee and SeedCamp events of Europe.

The Garage is a bimonthly event where Imperial Entrepreneur (IE) members are brought together in the same place, at the same time.

What is the purpose?

1. Provide an environment for students to talk about what they are working on
2. Network with potential investors
3. Develop relationships with mentors and team members
4. Offer valuable feedback and help kickstart opportunities

What will be the format?

The event will begin at 6pm and last until approximately 9pm, with talks from our speakers, Q&A sessions, and plenty of opportunity for networking.

Who will attend?

IE members (who have paid the prerequisite £5 membership for the year) will have free entry to all Garage events throughout the year.

The venue will be confirmed in emails to our members, and listed on this site closer to the date. Also, you may email info@imperialentrepreneurs.com closer to the date.

When will it be?

• 23th October — IE Launch Event/Garage first event
• 6th November — Garage second event
• 20th November — Garage third event
• 4th December — Garage fourth event

• 29th January 2008 — Garage sixth event
• 12th Febuary 2008 — Garage seventh event
